Max Power Offshore Big Game Saltwater Spinning Rods
All BlueWater® Max Power offshore saltwater big game spinning rods are made with carbon fiber and e-glass blanks for maximum compression and lifting power. These are excellent all around bait and jig rods with the emphasis on fighting capability. The fast action blanks of this series produce rods which also cast well (but give up about 4 to 8% in distance to the Max Cast series). Limited Lifetime Warranty. Pushing the limits of bluewater spinning with up to 50 lbs. of drag requires a precise fit of the rod to both you and your particular reel. A few simple choices, included in the price of each rod, will maximize the performance of your BlueWater rod:
- choose your reel seat, which includes a matching gimbal & cover;
- choose the material and length of your fore grip and rear grip;
- personalize your rod with your name, boat, fish decal, etc.; and,
- tell us the make and model of your reel so that we can adjust the guide spacing for optimal stress distribution
The Max Power series uses Fuji® heavy duty silicon carbide guides (the MN, HB, LB, & HV series) and tops (the MN, HN, US, & RS series) plus the Pac-Bay extra-heavy duty silicon carbide stripper guides for the 80 lb. roller rod. The 80 lb. rod also uses the new All American Neptune® Acid Roller Guides for the running guides and top -- this setup is also available for the 50 lb. rods. Each rod is made to order and ships in 4 to 5 weeks -- just enough time to get into shape before the real work-out begins.
