Stand-up Spin Rods
All BlueWater® offshore saltwater big game stand-up spinning rods are made in keeping with a simple philosophy: pure performance; each has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Characterized by fast lock-ups and extra-strong butts, these rods push the limits of bluewater spinning with up to 52 lbs. of drag -- requiring a precise fit of the rod to both you and your particular reel. A few simple choices, included in the price of each rod, maximize each rod's performance:
- choose your reel seat, which includes a matching gimbal & cover;
- choose the material and length of your fore grip and rear grip;
- personalize your rod with your name, boat, fish decal, etc.; and,
- tell us the make and model of your reel so that we can adjust the guide spacing for optimal stress distribution
Based upon experience, the 30 and 50 Lb. Class Stand-Up Spin rods use Fuji® heavy duty silicon carbide guides (the MN and LB series) and tops (the MN series). The 30, 50 and 80 Lb. Class Stand-Up Spin roller guide rods use Pac-Bay extra-heavy duty silicon carbide stripper guides and All American Neptune® Acid Roller Guides for the running guides and top. Each rod is made to order and ships in 4 to 5 weeks -- just enough time to get into shape before the real work-out begins.
